Garden Heaux - 2023 Art and Olfaction Awards Finalist

I bought a sample of Garden Heux along with several other beautiful scents from SAMAR. Each of these scents was transportive and very enjoyable, but Garden Heux stood out in its freshness and photorealistic evocation of a garden, especially with its tomato leaf note. Perfume is a hobby of mine and rarely do I smell something so fresh and original and also natural; it does not smell like a perfume section of a department store. It smells like a fully realized moment and place.

Recently, I am going through a severe crisis with my father being hospitalized in the ICU. He was on a ventilator until a few days ago and is now able to breathe on his own. As he slowly came awake again, and I could speak with him at last, I offered a sample of Garden Heux to him on a piece of gauze for him to smell and to transport him to a beautiful fresh garden while he is healing. He loves the fragrance and it means the world to me to be able to share this experience with him and take him just for a moment out of the hospital environment with such a gorgeous, thoughtfully made scent.

My father is not a perfume hobbyist like me, but he breathes this scent in very deeply. I have many samples of perfume, and I would not consider bringing any other in to provide such a depth of emotional support like this smell provides. It doesn't just smell good but really takes you to another place. I am very grateful to you for making such beautiful smells that truly utilize the power of this sense. They are more than just perfume.

Perfectly captures the vibe of walking thru a home garden in the warm summertime. Scent lasts for a long time, too!

Great tomato fragrance here though that's not all that's going on. I love the florals as well. They really help to bolster and lift the leaves and green grass. This is the perfect end of summer fragrance. Wear it to the farmers market or wear it anywhere. I can see the reason for all the praise. I'm going to need to up my sample soon.

This dries down to a "your skin but better" scent except the better is a vegetable garden. It's a scent that I'm going to be sniffing on bad days when I'm too sick to get out of bed and during the dead of winter when nothing grows.

I was so excited to finally get my hands on the fragrance many lauded as walking through a summer vegetable garden. The initial application is very much tomato leaf herby freshness. I was ecstatic. As it dried down it gave a much soapier scent until finally it wore away after a few hours to where it as mostly undetectable. I wish I could just hold onto that first application throughout the wear, but I understand that’s probably hard to attain. Really interesting profile but just don’t think it wears on me well, personally.
