I first ordered this scent a year and a half ago; I have never been a fragrance person but I do like to smell good. Sometimes flowery, sometimes a little musky, but most of all I like to smell like the woods and trees and smoke. This is perfect for such a purpose. I just purchased another bottle since my old one is on its last legs. I also bought another forest scented perfume recently, which is fine, but it was slightly disappointing because I had read rave reviews. For some reason it doesn't smell dark enough to me, feels higher in the canopy or on the treeline and sort of candleish. Again, not bad, but this one knocks it out of the park on damp and woodsy. (Camp)fire, leaf litter, and pthalo green. Well managed old growth conifer forest comes to mind. (land back!) Not complicated, no funny business. Just right for me :)

I am in love with all the scents for here, just so warm and inviting. I get so many compliments on it whenever I wear it out.

I've been looking for a scent that is bright, without coming across as too fruity (not that kind of fruity). Grove hits a sweet spot between vibrant, and chill. It's like that gorgeous, intellectual girl who's the life of the party, but also happens to be a down to earth, breath of fresh air.

I adore every one of the scents I got! They have staying power without being overpowering. And the customer support is amazing when I had a question. Very helpful and prompt. Will definitely be recommending this brand to friends.

This perfume is warm, floral, and layers great with Golden Hour. I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten from Samar Pitcrew and am blown away by their unique fragrances!

I was expecting beautiful scents as I had heard so many good things about Samar's work. I was blown away by the artistry in each of these. Every single one is incredibly well blended and every single one takes you on a journey. They start off strong and morph over each phase. Holy Ghost is my favorite. A haunting, atmospheric scent. If you are on the fence, please make the investment, they are all worth it.

I’ll fully admit, tea scents were something I used to avoid and then I tried Gris Charnel. It was nice but I wanted something more. I fell into a rabbit hole of tea scents until a Reddit post told me about a local Seattle perfumer with “The Tea House”. Upon opening the bottle, I was a bit confused as it opens strongly with peaches and jasmine. Unlike any other tea scent I had tried so far, I was curious and waited for the dry down. The heart notes lift around an hour in and the peach fades into the jasmine more. Now it’s a softer warm citrus and the tea notes bloom. The base of this perfume is floral but the citrus never completely fades away. Overall, this is easily a year round scent and one that’s going to stay in my rotation.

My only complaint is that the largest size is 10mL. I’m hoping for a 30mL release one day in future.

I bought a sample of Garden Heux along with several other beautiful scents from SAMAR. Each of these scents was transportive and very enjoyable, but Garden Heux stood out in its freshness and photorealistic evocation of a garden, especially with its tomato leaf note. Perfume is a hobby of mine and rarely do I smell something so fresh and original and also natural; it does not smell like a perfume section of a department store. It smells like a fully realized moment and place.

Recently, I am going through a severe crisis with my father being hospitalized in the ICU. He was on a ventilator until a few days ago and is now able to breathe on his own. As he slowly came awake again, and I could speak with him at last, I offered a sample of Garden Heux to him on a piece of gauze for him to smell and to transport him to a beautiful fresh garden while he is healing. He loves the fragrance and it means the world to me to be able to share this experience with him and take him just for a moment out of the hospital environment with such a gorgeous, thoughtfully made scent.

My father is not a perfume hobbyist like me, but he breathes this scent in very deeply. I have many samples of perfume, and I would not consider bringing any other in to provide such a depth of emotional support like this smell provides. It doesn't just smell good but really takes you to another place. I am very grateful to you for making such beautiful smells that truly utilize the power of this sense. They are more than just perfume.

Perfectly captures the vibe of walking thru a home garden in the warm summertime. Scent lasts for a long time, too!

I got this scent last winter and it soon became a favorite staple! I love the citrus smell, and love that it’s much more than that. It really is a walk in an orange grove. Great way to brighten a winter day in the PNW and all other days and evenings of the year also

All of the scents are amazing! I mostly wear the grove is in the heart, but wanted something floral for days I’m feeling flowery and great lei is perfect!!
